You are here: » » How to Install ICC Printer Color ProfilesHow to Install Printer Color Profiles on Your ComputerNeed to uninstall profiles?The ICC files must be placed inthe proper folder for your software to see and use them.If you use Photoshop CS4 or earlier, or Photoshop Elements, restart your computer after following these instructions.WindowsInstructions begin belowApple / MacWritten Instructions for WindowsStep 1 - Extract / Unzip the file you downloaded from our websiteOn most PCs, the zipped file will look like a folder with a zipper. (see right)1) Right click on the folder and choose 'Extract All' then follow the instructions.2) You will see a duplicate folder that is now unzipped. Delete the zipped folder.3) Now double click on the new folder to see the contents.After double clicking on the folder icon, you will see the contents of the folder. You will see an instructions document (either txt or PDF format) and the profile.The profile will contain the name of the paper and your printer model. It will have a.ICC or.ICM file extension.Note, your folder display may look different than the image at right. Regardless of how it looks, you will still see the two items mentioned above.Step 2 - Install the profileWhen you open the Now right click on the profile and select “Install Profile”.If you do not see 'Install Profile' then something has gone wrong.

The most likely reason is that you have not unzipped / extracted the folder.
